Matt Ward – B2B Fractional Webflow Designer & Developer, Bath UK
Where exceptional Webflow design meets professional credibility
I specialise in designing websites for B2B firms and high-trust, expert-led organisations in architecture, sustainability, professional services, tech and finance.
A Fractional
WEbflow Designer
I’m Matt, a fractional Webflow designer & developer specialising in creating websites for B2B firms and high-trust organisations across architecture, sustainability, professional services, tech and finance. I design Webflow sites that feel credible and considered, so the right clients feel confident choosing you.
Each project focuses on clear messaging, simple journeys and steady search growth, not just visuals. I work alongside your marketing team to untangle your offer, structure content and create pages that support tenders, thought leadership and long sales cycles. The result is a site that quietly builds trust, brings in better enquiries and is straightforward for your team to keep updated.

Specialist
Industries
I do my best work with organisations that sell expertise rather than products. Architecture practices, sustainability teams, professional services, tech and finance businesses all share similar challenges online: complex services, cautious clients and long decision making cycles.
By focusing on a small set of B2B and high-trust, expert-led industries, I can design Webflow sites that reflect how you actually win work, from first impression through to tender or instruction. The result is a website that feels familiar to your clients, speaks their language and quietly earns their trust.
Selected works
Through considered Webflow design and meticulous execution, I help established businesses present themselves online with the sophistication their reputation demands.

A full Webflow redesign for a corporate travel specialist, bringing their services and technology into a single, focused site. The new structure makes it easier for busy teams to see how Clarity fits into their world and move smoothly towards a conversation.
A site for a business consultancy that needs to feel calm, expert and approachable. This project shows how a clear structure and confident layout can give a small team the presence of a much larger firm.

A website for an architecture practice that puts real projects and long standing experience at the centre. The design keeps things simple and confident, helping prospective clients understand the scope of work and feel comfortable getting in touch.

Book a discovery call
If you prefer to talk things through, book a short call. We can look at where your site is holding you back and whether I am the right person to help.
What industries do you work with?
I work best with high trust, expert led firms that sell knowledge rather than products. That often means architecture practices, sustainability and ESG consultancies, finance and professional services, law firms, tech and B2B SaaS.
If your work is specialist, involves careful decision making and relies on your reputation, you are probably a good fit. I am always happy to chat if you are not sure whether your industry fits this description.
What is Webflow and why should I use it for my website?
Webflow is a modern website platform that combines design, content management and hosting in one place. I use it because it gives expert led firms a site that looks considered, loads quickly and is far easier to manage than a traditional hand coded build.
Once your site is set up properly you can edit pages, publish articles and update key content without needing a developer every time. It is also strong on performance and technical SEO, which helps your content stand a better chance in search results.
Do you do web design or web development?
I do both. Some clients come to me with a blank slate and ask for a full brand design, web design and build. Others have an existing brand or design system and need a Webflow specialist to handle the implementation.
We can shape the project around what you already have in place. If you have in house designers or a brand agency involved, I am very used to collaborating and taking their work into Webflow accurately.
I'm an agency, do you develop figma designs?
Yes. A lot of my work is partnering with agencies who need a reliable Webflow developer. You provide the Figma files, I turn them into a responsive, accessible Webflow site that closely matches the design and is straightforward for your client to update.
I can work white label or as a named partner, join client calls if needed and help your team figure out the best way to structure the build for long term use.
How much does it cost?
Most full design and build projects start from around £10,000. That reflects the amount of strategy, content planning, design and Webflow development that goes into getting the site right the first time, rather than cutting corners and fixing issues later.
The exact price depends on things like the size of the site, how many different page types we need, any integrations, and how much support you need with content and SEO. After an initial conversation I will put together a clear, fixed project proposal so you know exactly what is included and what it will cost.
If you are not ready for a full redesign, I also offer smaller pieces of work such as audits, consultation and focused improvements, which are priced separately.
Do you offer ongoing support and maintenance for Webflow sites?
Yes. Many clients keep me on as a long term partner once the main project is complete. That can include new landing pages, content changes, design refinements, performance and SEO improvements, or support for your marketing team when they want to try new ideas.
Webflow handles hosting, security and platform updates, so my ongoing support focuses on making sure the site keeps working hard for you rather than just staying online.
How long does it take?
Most full website projects take between six and eight weeks from kick off to launch. Smaller, focused projects can be quicker, while larger sites with more decision makers and content often need a little longer.
I will always give you a realistic timeline before we start, including key checkpoints for feedback, so you know what is happening when and who needs to be involved at each stage.
Do I need a developer to make future updates on my website?
For everyday updates, no. One of the main reasons I use Webflow is so that marketing teams and internal administrators can handle most content changes themselves. I set up clear page structures, CMS collections and reusable components, then walk you through how to use them.
You might still want help from me for bigger changes, new functionality or larger design updates. The aim is to give you control over the day to day while having someone you trust to call on for the heavier lifting.
How do you compare to an agency?
Working with me is closer to having an embedded specialist than hiring a large agency. You work directly with the person designing and building your site, there are fewer layers of account management and you get honest feedback on what will and will not work.
I am not a full service agency with a big team, which means I take on a limited number of projects and stay focused on web design, Webflow and practical growth support. When needed I can bring in trusted collaborators for copywriting, illustration or motion, but your project always has a single point of contact.
Got a project in mind?
If you are planning a new website or feel your current one is holding you back, I’d be happy to talk it through. Whether you are an established organisation or just starting to shape things, we can work out what you need your site to do, how it should support your clients and what a realistic Webflow project might look like for your team.
